Larry Grover and his mother Gloria talked to Phil about the government shutdown and how it now affects the payment of a "death gratuity" to the families of soldiers killed in Afghanistan. Larry feels that in order to help the Tea Party keep the government shutdown and bring Obama to his senses these families need to suck it up a little longer.
Tonight's show also featured Vernon Dozier and Joe Dickhead discussing fan interference in a play during the Detroit-Oakland ALDS playoff game.
