Margaret Grey and husband Frank flew to Hawaii on Sunday, so they joined the show with Frank eventually being too incoherent from alcohol to speak. Jeff Dowdder came on to report on a surfing competition in Oahu and brought Bud some supposedly meaningful conch shell named after a great-uncle of Toby Beau’s. Fred Waoo, a local resident who serves roast beef sandwiches on New Year’s Eve, a “Hawaiian tradition,” joined the show only to then walk off when things got too stupid.
