Starting the show tonight was Larry Grover who proclaimed that conservatives, his group of people, have to grow a pair. They have to tell the American people the truth: that the only way the deficits and then the national debt get knocked down is by eliminating Medicare and Social Security. Larry told Phil that he believes it even though "it could mean my own mother will be living in an alley and going through garbage cans for food.." Larry believes his mom might be on the street because without Social Security she won't be able to afford the rent he'll charge her when he gets her to put him on the title to the house.
In our next hour Father James McQuarters talks to Phil about how a new wave of workplace immigration raids will threaten the protection he provides illegal immigrants...as long as they tithe some of their income as usual week in and week out to him. When accused of being no better than a coyote Father McQuarters rejoined "they want to pay me. If they don't pay me then it's them sayin' 'send me back.'"
