    I leave a comment and it does not show up. However if someone threatens or disses another BSP member or Phil Hendrie it shows up. What the f! You want the trolls don't you?

    Phil, I also have insomnia--and I know it can be horrible! It's the "I can't shut my mind off" kind. Being a kindred nighttime schedule-person DEFINITELY doesn't help! Sadly, my body is VERY RESISTANT to "sleepytime" herbs & supplements such as Lactuca virosa, passionflower, Melissa officinalis, valerian root, skullcap, catnip, ashwagandha, chamomile, L-theanine, melatonin, GABA, L-tryptophan, etc., etc., ad nauseam. I'm currently experimenting a bit with Phenibut (a much more efficient relative of GABA) and Oleamide (a legal, natural cannabinoid-related substance). The Phenibut is good for sleeping longer and more deeply, but should only be used 2 or 3 times a week. The Oleamide sounds promising, but I haven't found my "dose" yet. The only natural thing I've found that helps my stubborn body/brain actually FALL ASLEEP so far is a liquid melatonin made by Quantum Nutrition. In the past I've tried brands I found at Whole Foods, but got no results. Oh, and I take about 4X the usual dose, lol. If you used to get results with L-tryptophan, you might try that again since they started making it available again. Or 5-HTP, which is related to L-tryptophan, but considered to be more effective.
    Oh yeah, and don't watch soccer before bedtime, as Bonnie hinted, haha.
